Description
25 Bell Street is a 16th-century house that is part of a larger structure, with a rear block dating from the 17th century and a later lean-to addition. The building is two stories high and has two windows. It features a timber frame with a steep old red tile roof that is hipped to the west and gabled to the east. There is a large internal gable chimney made of red brick. The front has a plastered surface over a rendered plinth, while the west end has weatherboarding on the ground floor and is plastered above. The upper floor contains two three-light mullioned wood casements with square leaded glazing. The central door is modern and is flanked by Victorian casements. The ground floor west end has a heavy axial beam that is exposed, adding to the building's picturesque character.
