Description
The garden wall at The Palace East is a structure from the 18th or 19th century, made of red brick and located adjacent to the garage of The Palace East in Much Hadham village. The wall stands between two and a half to three metres high and extends approximately 50 metres east from the northern corner of the garage. It features a blocked entrance in the center and has a sloping brick top course to the east of this entrance. There is a tall end pier at the eastern side of the wall, and the north face includes a plinth and flat buttresses. The wall connects halfway with later walling that forms a kitchen garden. This structure is included for its group value.
