Description

This is an early 19th-century house, a timber-framed, single-story farm cottage located 90 metres south-southwest of the main farmhouse. The building has an L-shape and faces west. The construction is a mix of plastered and weatherboarded sections, with a steep red tiled hipped roof covering both parts. On the plastered section, there’s a symmetrical arrangement featuring a central door flanked by windows. A rear wing extends to the south. The windows are small-paned, flush wooden casements, three lights each. The left-hand side is weatherboarded and continues under the same roofline. Features include a plank door leading into the house and a high two-light opening used for ventilation. This is an interesting late timber-framed building, contributing to the picturesque appearance of Olives Farm.
