Description

The granary at Staples Farmhouse, located 30 meters to the south-southwest of the house, is an early 19th-century structure. It features a timber frame made of oak, which is dark weatherboarded with corner fillets. The building has a pitched roof also covered in feather-edged weatherboarding. It is raised on three by three cast iron staddles. The granary is a small rectangular building that faces north and has a central boarded door, accessed by a ladder of five steps, which is fitted with iron strap hinges.
