Description

The Old Mill House Hotel is an 18th-century building that was enlarged in the 19th century. It is constructed of grey and plum-coloured brick with red brick dressings and an old tiled roof. The building is two storeys and attics, with two casement gabled dormers on the east elevation.

The south entrance front features three gables and a 19th-century gabled porch, as well as a first-floor band. The east side elevation has three nearly flush sash windows with glazing bars, flat arches, and two dummy windows on the left. A half-glazed door is set on the right, sheltered by a cut bracketed pedimented hood. A gable contains an oeil-de-boeuf window, topped with 19th-century coping. In the 19th century, the house was doubled on the left.
