Description

The Old Cottage is a red brick and timber-framed cottage, likely dating to around 1647. The ground floor is built of red brick, while the first floor is timber-framed with red brick nogging between the framing members. The roof is covered with old tiles. The cottage has two storeys and features two windows with three lights, which are flush-sash lattice casements. Two early brick chimney stacks are present. A gabled closed porch has been added. It was marked as a rustic cottage on an Ordnance Survey map.
