Description

This building, known as Nos. 2/3 Pipers Hill, is a house that was originally two separate houses from the 19th century but has now been combined into one. The structure dates back to the late 17th century and features a brick front that was added in the mid-19th century. It has a timber frame with 18th-century red brick-on-edge infill visible at the gable ends. The front is made of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with a timber surround framing a panel of herringbone brickwork between the two ground floor windows. The roof is steep and covered with old red tiles.

The house is one and a half storeys high, set back from the road and facing south. It has two 2-light lattice leaded windows, a blocked doorway on the right-hand side, and a studded, boarded door on the left-hand side, which is located under a flat arch. There are also two gabled dormers that rise through the eaves. At the left end of the building, there is a 19th-century lean-to extension.
