Description
Clonmel is a house dating from the 17th century, with brick casing added in the early 18th century and 19th-century brick used in the crosswing. The building features a timber frame that is infilled with red brick on the north gable, while the rest is also cased in red brick. It has steep old red tile roofs and is two storeys high, facing west with a north gable towards the road and a two-storey gabled front porch. There is a gabled crosswing at the south. The front has four windows, which are two-light flush lattice leaded casements. The exterior showcases chequered 18th-century red brick with blue headers, a floor band, and flat gauged arches on the ground floor. A very large central chimney, which was rebuilt in the 19th century, is also a prominent feature.
