Description
Hoddesdonbury is a building from the 16th and 17th centuries with an early 19th-century front, designed in an L-shape. The south side is plastered, while the other sides are covered with weatherboarding. It has an old tiled roof and features a 16th-century red brick chimney stack at the rear, with a yellow stock brick chimney on the west side. The south front has three windows with 6/6-pane sashes set in moulded architrave frames, and a fielded-panel door topped with a simple hood supported by double scrolls. The west side includes a roof extending to the ground floor and a casement dormer. There is a later lean-to extension at the rear. Inside, the front room has an axial beam, a lower ceiling on the east side, and an early 19th-century recess in the center room.
