Description

Gardner Cottage is a late 19th century cottage designed in the Tudor style. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and features deep eaves along with prominent projecting gables that have cusped, wavy-edged bargeboards and tall finials. The symmetrical south front includes a gabled porch with a Tudor arch door, figured hood stops, and a diagonal set clock. The windows are two-light casements with diamond leaded glass. Additionally, the chimney pots are patterned and cement-rendered.
