Description

Hoddesdonbury Barn, located south of the house on Cock Lane in Hoddesdon, is a 17th-century barn constructed with a timber frame and covered in tarred weatherboarding, sitting on a base of red brick. The barn features a cedar shingle roof and consists of five bays. On the west side, there are modern sliding doors replacing the original cart entrance. The east side has an unusual round-headed entrance with double doors. There is a lower extension on the north side, which dates from the 18th century, also weatherboarded and topped with an old tile roof, featuring a ventilator above the door.
