- 1855, simple early Gothic style. Yellow stock brick, cement and stone dressings, steep slate roof. Unified symmetrical group, all details intact. Single storey with two stage central square belfry and spire. 3-unit elevation: outer, steep-roofed chapels with gabled porches flanked by lancet windows; lower centre unit of 2 outer gabled projections with twin lancets and central gabled porch, which, like the others has attached shafts and moulded arches. Angled , steppped buttresses to projections, crosses on apexes, square cast-iron latticework to windows, quatrefoil blind panels to gables. Trefoiled eaves cornice on belfry. Porches on side elevations. Picturesque evergreen setting. (Pevsner (1977)).
