Description
Cemetery Lodge, built in 1855, is a two-storey structure made of yellow stock brick with cement and stone dressings, topped with a slate roof. It features an architectural style identical to the nearby Mortuary Chapel. The lodge has lancet windows with square-pane metal latticework, arranged in pairs on the west side for both the ground and first floors. A gabled porch with angled stepped buttresses is located on the south side, while a lower gabled cross-wing is found on the east side, both adorned with crosses at their apexes. The building also has a modillioned cornice. It is included for its group value.
