Description
Tumbleweed is a timber-framed and plastered building that features external elements from the 18th and 19th centuries, but its core timber frame dates back to the 16th century. The structure has one storey and attics, with casement windows that include glazing bars. The roof is thatched and has two dormers on the front and two at the rear. There is a central chimney stack that has been rebuilt on the outside, although it retains a 17th-century design inside. Inside, the building showcases heavy exposed timber framing and includes an original blocked window with diamond mullions.
