Description

New Amberden Hall is a red brick house dating from around 1670, closely resembling Thistley Hall located about half a mile to the north-west. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a five-window range of bar and transom casements with leaded lights. A central doorway with a fanlight is topped by a flat hood. A raised brick band runs across the front between the storeys. The roof is tiled and includes two dormers on the front and two chimney stacks at the ends. The rear of the building is plastered and has three modern gables.
