Description

This granary, located approximately 15 metres northeast of Bury Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is timber-framed and covered with weatherboarding, topped with a tiled roof. The structure consists of three bays and two storeys, with a half-hipped roof at both ends, supported by 20 plain iron staddles. The walls feature primary straight bracing. There is an inscription on one of the beams that reads 'S (reversed) A 1799', although this may not indicate the exact date of construction.
