Description
This is a 16th-century house located on the west side of Park Street, Thaxted. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The timber frame is visible on the first floor. A long wall jetty is supported by brackets. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range of double-hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor features an 18th-century six-panel door. Later extensions have been added to the north and south ends of the building.
