Description

Shirley is an 18th-century house that has undergone some alterations in the 19th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with double hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. The eaves cornice is paired and modillioned. The entrance is accentuated by a flat hood supported by consoles and pilasters, which is complemented by a rectangular fanlight above.
