No. 20 Town Street is a 19th-century house constructed of brick and timber frame, finished with plaster and topped by a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung vertical sliding sashes. On the ground floor, there are two bay windows, each with hipped tile roofs. The house also includes a 19th-century porch supported by columns with brackets.
