Benrose is an early 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on the west side of The Street in Manuden. It features a cross wing at the east end and has undergone significant alterations in the 18th century and later, particularly on the south side, along with renovations and modern additions. The timber framing is exposed on the north side, and the cross wing has a jettied upper storey supported by a moulded and carved bressummer.
