Description

"Romans" is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, featuring two storeys and an attic. It has a half-hipped plain red tiled roof with three hipped dormers. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with various small paned casement windows. The entrance is marked by an off-centre wooden door beneath a red tiled gablet porch supported by brackets. There is an off-centre square red brick chimney stack, along with an external red brick stack to the right. The house is situated on a moated site.
