Description

"Bakers" is a cottage dating from the late 15th century to early 16th century, with 20th-century additions on both the right and left sides. The building has two storeys and an attic, topped by a half-hipped plain red tiled roof. The original structure features an exposed timber frame with plastered infill, jowled corner posts, and a crown post roof. The 20th-century additions are constructed of brick and have roofs that match the original. The cottage includes various leaded casement windows, with the ground floor featuring 20th-century herringbone brick bases beneath the windows. A square red brick chimney stack is present on the building.
