Description

Old Forge is a house that dates from the early 16th century and 17th century, with later extensions and alterations. It has two storeys and features a crosswing with a half-hipped roof, alongside a hipped range to the right and a double range roof to the left, all covered with plain red tiles. The building is timber framed and plastered, with the crosswing displaying exposed jetty beams and brackets. It includes various 17th century and 20th century leaded metal casement windows. The entrance has a red plain tiled gabled porch and a two-panel door with three lights. There are four square red brick chimney stacks.
