Description

No 38, known as Tuesday, is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of Bentfield Causeway in Stansted Mountfitchet. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A central six-panel door is flanked by a portico supported by four fluted Doric columns, topped with a flat hood. The roof is tiled and has half hips at both the east and west ends.
