Description

A terrace of six cottages built in 1896 by Frances, Countess of Warwick, to serve as servants' quarters for Easton Lodge, a house dating from the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed with timber framing and plastered brick, featuring a red plain tile roof. The design is two storeys high. The central two units exhibit a gable facing the front, while the remaining cottages have smaller decorative gables adorned with pierced bargeboards. All have six windows with casement frames featuring diagonal glazing bars. The central section incorporates two oriels on the first floor, supported by wooden brackets. A full-length verandah runs along the front of the terrace, supported by timber posts with brackets and pierced spandrels, and incorporates segmental arches at the centre.
