Description
Manuden House is an 18th-century stuccoed brick house with later alterations and additions. The original section at the southeast end has two storeys and attics, featuring a five-window range on the front with 19th-century double-hung sashes. A central Ionic stuccoed portico projects from the front, supported by plain columns and topped with a cornice. The roof is tiled and has a modillion eaves cornice, along with three hipped dormers that have old leaded casements and end chimney stacks. A modern addition is attached to the northwest end, designed in a similar style but with a lower eaves level.
