Description

Hop Poles is a cottage comprising three distinct phases of construction, dating to the 16th century, 18th century, and 19th century. The 19th-century section has brick walls and a grey slate roof, the 18th-century section is timber-framed with a plain red tile roof, and the earliest section is timber-framed and thatched. The entire cottage is plastered and painted white. It features 2:1:2 paned sliding sash windows. A plain, recessed wooden door provides access. A square chimney stack is constructed of red brick.
