Description
The Stables at Gaston House is a building that has been converted from stables, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is one and a half storeys high and features a rectangular red brick structure with a staggered two-level gable end roof covered in red pantiles. The gable ends have dentilled eaves, which are also carried through as an ornamental band at both roof levels, creating a pediment and an open pediment at the front and rear of the building. There is a raised brick plinth and a central band. The entrance door is located in a central projecting panel, framed by a double round-headed arch. Small paned round-headed windows are positioned to the left, right, and above the doorway.
