Description
Springwell Farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered house that was refronted on the south and east sides in the 18th century. It has two storeys, with the north side featuring two gables and the west side displaying a jettied upper storey. The east front includes a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, along with a central doorway that has a porch supported by iron pillars, flanked by shallow bays. The south front consists of a three-window range, primarily made up of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey features one shallow bay and one tripartite window. The roof is tiled and hipped, with a central chimney stack on the east side and an internal stack on the north side.
