Riders Croft is a timber-framed and plastered house that features 18th-century external characteristics, although it may have an earlier core. The building has two storeys and a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. At the front, there is a central modern porch that projects and has a tiled roof. The roof is tiled and has a mansard design, with two flat-headed dormers and an end chimney stack.
