Description

Springwell Cottage is an early 18th century timber-framed and plastered building in Little Chesterford. It is said to incorporate the frame of an earlier house. The cottage is one storey with attics. It has casement windows and a thatched roof that is half-hipped, with two gabled dormers and a raised dormer in the centre. A central chimney stack is present. The building has been renovated and modernised.
