Description

Rose Cottage and two adjoining cottages are three cottages dating from the late 17th century, featuring extensive original timber framing visible on the inside. The cottages are constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a plain red tiled roof. They are two storeys high and have six ranges of 20th-century casement windows, with two hipped and tiled bays on the ground floor of the cottage on the left. There are three 20th-century doors with flat canopies and brackets leading to Rose Cottage and the adjacent cottage. Additionally, there are three rectangular red brick chimney stacks. The cottages have group value with the house to the right.
