Description

Heyrons is a house that was formerly a barn, dating from the late 16th century and early 19th century. The main barn is covered in black weatherboarding and features a gabled peg tile roof, along with a gabled midstrey on the southwest side. This barn is connected to an 'L' shaped block of former cartsheds and outbuildings made of red brick, topped with clay pantiled roofs. The roadside elevation includes a large buttress, several small casement windows, and a chimney stack on one side. Inside the 16th-century barn, there are arched wall braces, jowled posts, and a V strut roof.
