Description

This is a K6 type telephone box located in front of Hill House on the west side of High Street in Saffron Walden. It was designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and constructed from cast iron by various contractors. The kiosk is square with a domed roof, featuring unperforated crowns on the top panels and margin glazing on the windows and doors.
