Description

Virginia Cottage is a 17th century house that is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a thatched roof. It has one storey and attics, featuring a four-window range with modern casements and one gabled dormer. A 17th century red brick chimney stack is present. At the north end, there is a modern extension with a red plain tile roof, also one storey and attics, which includes a two-window range and two gabled dormers. A garage is located at the north end. Inside, the original frame is intact, and there is a large 17th century fireplace with a mantel beam.
