Description
Church End Cottage, which includes a range of cottages to the south-west, is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that has undergone significant alterations. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey jettied on the north-west front, where part of it is under-built with a modern bow corner window. It features modern casement windows and a hipped tiled roof on the north-west front. The cottage now incorporates a range of cottages extending to the south-west. At the south-west end, there is an 18th to 19th century timber-framed and plastered cottage with a tiled roof and a central square chimney stack. Between these structures is a 19th century timber-framed and plastered house with a slate roof. All the cottages have been renovated, now featuring modern casements, and together they form one tenement.
