Description

The water tower, built in 1903, is located on the north side of Fronks Road in Dovercourt, Harwich. It is a painted steel structure featuring a circular water tank made of painted corrugated metal sheeting, topped with a cone-shaped roof and an access gallery with a handrail. The tower itself is an openwork octagonal design, constructed from painted steelwork, with diagonal housing and access ladders. This elegant and functional building serves as a local landmark.
