Description

Mill House is a 19th-century house located on High Street in Dovercourt, Harwich. It is constructed of gault brick and features a wide overhanging hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The building stands two storeys high and includes cellars. The front facade has a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with margin glazing and wooden external shutters. On the ground floor, there are two semicircular bays with 20th-century windows, and a central projecting porch that has an arched hood supported by shaped brackets, along with a semicircular fanlight that includes radial glazing bars. At the rear, there is a large wing. The interior has not been inspected.
