Description

The stable block, located approximately 60 metres southeast of Lawford Hall, dates from the 18th to 19th century and is constructed of red brick. It features a hipped red tiled roof and stands two storeys tall. The building has a parapet with a moulded band underneath and a central band. It consists of eight bays, with the two central bays projecting forward and topped with a pediment that has a blocked lunette at the apex. The first floor has small paned vertically sliding sash windows arranged in a 3:2:3 pattern, with the second and seventh windows blocked. There are vertically boarded doors on the right and left, with similar windows on each side, and a long vertically boarded door in the central bays.
