Description

Stannetts is an early 18th-century house located off Paglesham Road, south of Paglesham. The house is timber-framed and weatherboarded, with a red plain tiled roof. The left end is constructed of red brick, and there are central chimney stacks at the rear. A moulded eaves cornice runs around the building. The ground floor to the left features a single-storey range with a chimney stack and small paned two-light casement windows. The main range has three windows: the ground floor windows are small-paned vertically sliding sashes with moulded surrounds; the first floor windows are similar, except the central window is tripartite, with a single light above. A central four-panel door has fluted pilasters with moulded capitals and bases, and is sheltered by a 20th-century flat canopy with dentilled eaves, supported by circular columns with moulded capitals and bases. A six-panel door is said to be located at the rear.
