Description

Tapps Cottage is a 17th-century cottage featuring a timber frame with a plastered front and a weatherboarded rear. It has a red plain tiled roof that includes two gabled dormers and a later outshot at the rear. The cottage is topped by a central red brick chimney stack. The front has two small paned vertically sliding sash windows with pentice boards above them. The central entrance consists of a vertically boarded door, also with a pentice board over it.
