Description
Woodredon Farmhouse, located on Woodredon Road in Upshire, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with a front that is reputedly from around 1716. The farmhouse features a panelled ground floor front room from the 18th century, complete with ovolo mouldings. Inside, there is a close string newel staircase that has turned balusters and a moulded handrail. The building is constructed of red brick and has a hipped old tiled roof with three ridges. It stands three storeys high and includes floor bands, five flush windows, and ground and first-floor sashes set under cambered arches. The second floor has sliding casements with glazing bars. A cornice runs along the top, and there is a pedimented wooden porch supported by colonnettes. To the left, there is a single-storey and attic wing that features two sliding casements and a box dormer.
