Description

Upshire Hall is an 18th-century building with a 19th-century extension, located on Honey Lane. The main part of the hall features a front of red brick with an old red-tiled roof and a parapet. It is two storeys high, with attics above. There are two sash windows with glazing bars in the reveals, each set under a flat cutter arch. A central porch has octagonal Doric colonnettes supporting a canted pebbledash bay with a three-light window. To the left is a two-window wing constructed of yellow brick in a similar style. Upshire Hall, along with the Lodge and Southend Farmhouse, form a group.
