Description

Littlebury Mill, located to the south of Littlebury, is a mill that was originally a watermill built around 1840. It was later converted to use steam and electricity but is no longer operational. The structure is primarily timber framed and weatherboarded, resting on a brick base. It features a gabled grey slate roof with a central weatherboarded lucam. The building has a two-window range of small paned vertical sliding sashes, with segmental heads on the ground floor. There are central two-part doors leading to the ground and first floors. Much of the original machinery remains, including the wheels, the wheel house, bins, and stones, although they are not in good condition.
