Description

Marshgate Farmhouse is a house from the 16th century that was altered in the 17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a half hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and features a range of two windows with 20th-century casements. There is also a 20th-century lean-to porch. The original chimney stack is made of red brick and has diagonal shafts.
