Description

Bundish Hall is a house dating from the mid-15th century, with alterations in the 17th and early 19th centuries. It is partly timber-framed and partly brick, with plastered walls and a red plain tile hipped roof. The house has two storeys and a three-window front, featuring early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars. Two 20th-century ground-floor bay windows are linked by a lean-to roof. Red brick chimney stacks are visible on the flank wall. A west wing, constructed in the mid-15th century as a crosswing and originally gabled, has a cross-quadrate crownpost roof and relates to the hall range; it was rebuilt in the 17th century. Dates of 1697 and 1839 are inscribed on bricks. Some original 16th-century panelling remains. The house sits on a moated site.
