Description
The forecourt walls, railings, and gates at Woolston Hall date from the 17th to early 18th century. The wall extends approximately 40 meters southwest from the west corner of Woolston Hall. It is made of red brick in English bond and stands about 3 meters high, featuring one small door. There is a section that extends approximately 17 meters southeast from the southwest end, where wrought iron railings are set on a dwarf wall of red brick, also in English bond, topped with stone coping. The central wrought iron gates are adorned with an elaborate overthrow, and there are brick piers at both ends topped with ball finials.
