Description

Baytrees is a 15th-century house built in an H-plan, featuring exposed heavy timber framing. The hall storey posts are positioned close to the crosswings but are not structurally related. Both crosswings project outwards to the north. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles and have eaves. The west cross-entry doorway has a four-centred arched head. There is one gabled dormer located in front of the hall roof. The windows are modern leaded casements, with two on the hall front and one over one in each wing gable.
