Description
Holly Lodge Farmhouse is a 17th-century house originally built on a T-shaped plan, with the east wing later stretched out. The walls are plastered, and the roof is covered in peg tiles. The north wing is a single storey in height. The front of the house has a range of three casement windows on the first floor. Around 1900, a front door was added within a wide, hooded case, but it's now located inside a glazed lean-to. Modern windows are positioned on either side of the entrance. There’s a gabled dormer window on the front of the building, and another on the west wing. Two pairs of sash windows with glazing bars are present on the east side, alongside a weatherboarded extension on the first floor. The ground floor now has modern windows and doors. The farmhouse is distinguished by five red brick chimney stacks.
