Description

Oldhouse Farmhouse is a late 17th or early 18th century house, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and now clad in red brick, with a red plain tile roof. The house has two storeys and a four-window front. 19th-century casement windows are set in the original openings, each with a segmental head. A doorcase dating from circa 1700 features a flat, dentilled and moulded canopy, moulded pilasters with patera, and the original six-panel door. A central chimney stack is constructed of red brick. A modern lean-to roof, also of plain tile, extends at the east end, covering a single-storey, two-bay section with windows and a glazed door between them.
